Guests coming from Tokyo need to take the Bullet train to Nagano (90 minutes), change to the express train bound for Nagano (170 minutes, then by bus (100 minutes) or train (45 minutes) to Yudanaka. This area is one of the most famous skiing resorts in Japan and well-known area for Alpine ski races of the Winter Olympic Games in 1998.
