Just want to relax and chill in the sun, then welcome to the Queens Bay Hotel. This outstanding hotel is set in its own well, kept gardens that lead down to a “cute” natural lagoon. The Queens Bay is the choice if you want a soothing, calming tranquil holiday with all the facilities of a four star hotel at 3 star rates. The Queens Bay is situated in a wonderful location, set back from the main road with beautiful views of the sea and mountains and dramatic sunsets in the evenings as seen from the pool terraces, which add to the serenity of this hotel.

Whilst the Queens Bay attracts all ages it particularly attracts couples without children and is also extremely popular with repeat clients. The hotel is a welcoming hotel with a pleasant informal, sociable ambiance. The Hotel staff has the right mix of professionalism and friendliness whilst maintaining the highest standards of service.

The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor pool, tennis courts, bowls, crazy golf, gym, sauna, short mat indoor bowls (International full size mat) games room, snooker room, restaurant, 4 bars, shop, children’s paddling pool and playground, day and night entertainment.

The Hotel boasts a full, daily and evening entertainment programme with sports and games, competitions and tournaments, quizzes and live music, meet the management cocktail evening, tour of the hotel a behind the scenes look, flower and cookery demonstrations and much more, there is something for everyone.

Located 15-18 km from the Hotel are the three golf club of Paphos with 18 holes.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served daily in the Didos cafeteria, between 7:15 and 10:00. There is a large selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits and cereals.

Lunch is also served daily in the Didos cafeteria, between 12:30 and 14:30, where light bites, sweets and ice creams are served along with the daily suggestions (see the black board). Light meals are served until late in the afternoon, with affordable prices.

Queens Bay Hotel invites you to enjoy the classic setting of Cassiopia Restaurant with its sumptuous array of foods and artistic displays, with a selection of hot and cold meals, local and international dishes. The restaurant is open daily between 18:30 and 22:00 in winter and between 19:00 and 22:00 in summer where a supplement of CYP 8.50 applies per person.

In the evening, take time to relax and sit back in the Verenikis lounge bar or on the open air terrace. A perfect place for your pre-dinner aperitifs and after dinner drinks.

Room information

All 199 bedrooms have balcony veranda and /or sun terrace, individually controlled climate control (air-conditioning and central heating), international direct dial telephones, coloured televisions with local and satellite channels including radio stations via the television, hair dryers, 220-240 volt 3-pin square electrical supply and private bathroom with basin set in marble vanity units, toilet, full size bath with shower and electric shaver outlet.

Bedrooms are furnished in a modern style in cheerful pastel colours. 118 bedrooms have full sea views of the sapphire blue Mediterranean and 75 have inland views over the banana plantations and vineyards to Kissonerga village.

Area information

The hotel can be found below the picturesque village of Kissonerga, which has many excellent local tavernas, bars and restaurants. Queens Bay is also half way between the famous ancient site of The Tombs of the Kings and the popular beach spot of Coral Bay, with quick and easy access to Paphos town and harbour, with its ancient Venetian fort and sidewalk cafes and restaurants.

The friendliness of the staff and always very helpful.

The breakfast had no variety, especially if you wanted a continental breakfast. Staff sometimes a little slow slow in clearing tables used at breakfast. If you like an evening walk, then it is along a busy main road with no footpath and there is no beach walk from the hotel.

close to centre

i didnt think it was a 4 star hotel, at most 3 star, it had the facilities but was tacky and poor finishings and furnishings and generally needed renovating especially the rooms. food wasnt good, only had breakfast and wasnt great selection and quality was poor.

Just the location

The coffee during the breakfast was awful, perhaps a reason for never going back there, and for a decent cyprus coffee they charged us 2,56 euros, while it costs approximately 0,10 cents.

Well positioned, and offered good enough facilities for the price charged, and compared to the other hotels in the immediate are.

The breakfast could have been a little better. It was the same boring breakfast served every morning, but it wasn't bad.
