We offer comfortable rooms, copious breakfasts, many services and attractive prices.
Hotel opened its doors in May 2004.
The reception is open from 7am to 11.30 am and from 4.30pm to 10pm.

Reasonably secure, i.e. - carpark gates locked at night. Easy acces to local restaurant.

No tea-making facilities in room. External window shutters were noisy during night with wind moving them.

Helpfullness of staff and good value for money

Easy to find and park after we had driven round town. (That was because the map attached to your site we now know, is a little inaccurate, the hotel is at the end of the road, plus the arrows are nothing to do with arriving at the Akena. Can walk to Buffalo Grill. The beds are always comfy. Ideal as a stop-over and will use it again.

The Akena hotels always have skinny pillows, but there again, lots of French and Belgian hotels do. The self-check-in machine was out of order but reception openes before the advertised time.

Good, clean, comfortable, if small rooms. Pretty good breakfast for the price. Excellent price. Right next door to a fairly decent chain restaurant (so open on Sundays).

Limited reception times, and 24 hour electronic reception did not accept my card. No problem - we only had to wait 20 mins.

Rooms were too hot with no way of cooling them down other than opening the windows. Then got bitten by mosquito's

No air conditioning and windows not tilt and turn so young children could possibly climb/fall out.
