Food & beverage

The cosy and elegantly decorated à la Carte restaurant in the Hotel serves delicious meals a in lovely environment, with music played on the grand piano and a live fire in the fireplace to create a romantic atmosphere. The Restaurant Apogee is a perfect place for a proper breakfast to start the day, to enjoy a sound business lunch, a romantic dinner or a tasty special meal of the day.
The restaurant Apogee is open from 18:00 until 23:00.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant Apogee from 07:00 until 10:00, on weekends from 08:00 until 11:00.

This is my second stay at the Hotel Bern and the young staff, as before, are very welcoming and friendly. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The restaurant serves extremely nice food (I don't know why more people weren't eating there). The area is quiet, away from the rather noisy tourist centre of Tallinn, but only about 5 minutes on foot

The facilities outside the room are quite limited if you want things like a bar or lounges. The restaurant tends to be a bit under-used at night, and so lacks some atmosphere.

Friendly staff - very helpful. Excellent location 5 mins from Old Town and bus station. One of the few hotels I've stayed where the air conditioning does actually work!

View from our room window was of building site - but would not put us off staying here again. Breakfast was slightly disappointing - not much choice.

The location was excellent for both the things in town and getting out to the other areas we wanted to visit.

The night club guests were very loud. There is no need to encourage them with tables and chairs in the courtyard.

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Staff in the breakfast room were not so friendly.

Like a lot of hotels in Eastern Europe, the shower is not in a stall. Therefore, even using the shower curtain, the bathroom floor gets wet, which makes it uncomfortable to walk into the bathroom in bare feet and not smart to walk in with socks. The slippers don't help.
