We requested a room with extra bed and were not an ordinary double room initially, but then changed On Sunday morning we were told that breakfast was at 8.00am, but there was no-one around until 8.30am, and everywhere was locked up. We therefore had to leave without breakfast as we had a ferry to catch. |

Hotel was not in the town stated. Street name was also wrong. Being Sunday, Bar & Restaurant was closed at night. However, for reasons unknown, the Lounge was locked up. Their was not a lift. My partially handicapped wife suffered having to walk up stairs. Breakfast was not served until 08.00 hours. An hour later than all the other hotels I stayed at. |

Breakfast Feeling that it was being run for the staff rather than guests. Place deserted after 7pm Asked to pay our bill within 10 minutes of arrival as staff wanted to go home and no reception staff would be there the following morning. All pervading smell of cooked fish & on arrival informed restaurant was closed. No facilities for any form of hot or cold drinks until breakfast. Room had cobwebs & large damp patch on ceiling. Toilet had no light & relied on fanlight. We were the only people in the building the entire night - had there been an emergency or problem we would have had to cope on our own. We were grateful we had not been driving all day, as we then had to drive into Hazebrouck to look for somewhere to eat (unsuccessfully as the fair was in town). Our dinner was a hamburger & chips purchased from the fairground and eaten cold in our room. Not quite how we envisaged spending our evening. |

Midpoint between Ypres and Lille We had previously stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and had had an excellent stay. Now, however, we found 1. The facilities are run-down - poorly appointed bathroom with wonky and corroded taps. 2. Unhelpful staff - except for the middle-aged breakfast waitress. 3. A very disappointing dinner menu with much less choice than last time and poor value for money (so we only ate there one night and otherwise ate much better and cheaper elsewhere) Previously the silver-service dinner (now not available) had been the attraction. |

La disponibilité du personnel car nous avons eu plusieures difficultés : la chambre ne correspondait pas à la location d'où un changement de chambre dans laquelle le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas ! Il a fallu faire une réparation à 23h30. La chambre occupée avait un "aspect de pas fini." Ou de faite avec moins de goùt : mocquette tachée, placard non fini, angles de murs déterriorés et pour finir le drap du lit était déchiré. |

La gentillesse du responsable Nous avions réservé une chambre à 2 lits (nous étions 2 amies), et nous avions 1 grand lit; nous avons tél à votre service, qui nousa répondu, malaimablement que 'déjà nous avions une chambre'... et que les chambres à 2 lits n'existaient pas ds cet hotel !!!!!!!!! Puis, le responsable est arrivé, et nous a donné la chambre d'à côté, à 2 lits !!! |
