Newly refurbished in 2008, the Hotel Euler has offered traditional and first-class hotel culture for more than 140 years, now combined with all the amenities of a modern 21st-century business hotel.

The hotel is situated just opposite the main railway station in the heart of a rising business and cultural city. Recently redesigned, the hotel features brand new room designs, colours, furniture and state-of-the-art technology, including wireless internet access, flat screen TVs and iPod connectivity, making each guest's stay unforgettable.

Recently redesigned, the hotel features brand new room designs, colours, furniture, and state-of-the-art technology. There is always something happening, either in the restaurant and the bar or in the lobby, with live piano music every evening. There is no better place to sit and observe all the activity than the hotel's delightful terrace. Indeed, this 19th-century hotel exudes atmosphere and charm throughout.

Food & beverage

The buffet breakfast is served from 06:30 to 10:30.

The Euler Bar-Restaurant is open daily from 09:30 until midnight. We serve delicious Mediterranean cuisine and a daily business lunch from 11:30 to 14:00.

The whole stay was delightful but especially the excellent quality of the beds, the crisp linnen, the brightness and spaciousness of the room, the friendly staff, the ideal location and the perfect in house entertainment system.

I think in such a modern hotel, wireless internet should be available for free, for all guests.

Easy access from arport (No 50 bus at arrivals). Convenient location next to Basel sbb train station and a few minutes walk from centre. Recently re-furbished & comfortable. Interested staff.

Reception/check-out a little slow.

We loved everything about the Euler Hotel Basel, i.e, location, the spacious room, wonderful comfy bed and were most impressed with the bathroom and the luxurious, spacious shower and the lighting in the bathroom. You don't find this in many European hotels!

Staff at the reception desk was unwilling to help. Also, they did not provide us with mobility ticket (free tram/bus ticket) until we found out that they were supposed to do so when we arrived.
