The hotel is part of an 19th century recently restored Palazzo, located in the heart of Lugano's old town, a few steps from the lake and close to the city's financial centre.

The lovely city of Lugano is known since ancient times by artists, writers and poets for its particularly mild climate, its marvellous views and luxuriant vegetation.

The Lugano Dante Swiss Quality Hotel is centrally located, only 1 minute by rack railway from the railway station and only 200 metres from the lake.

The nearest airport is Milan, which is approximately 80 km away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lugano Dante Center Swiss Quality Hotel. Very conveniently placed in the town - a couple of steps from the Mono Rail up to the station - close to the lake and shops. We also enjoyed being able to use the Internet and the availability of coffee in the reception lounge all the time. Everything was great.

A very enjoyable stay. This is an attractive, comfortable hotel in a convenient downtown location. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Complimentary refreshments available around the clock add to a welcoming ambiance. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return for another visit.

It would be helpful if the hotel would provide free wireless internet access in the guest rooms

Friendly staff, very good location

Not enough TV programing available in English. Upgrade to Exec. Junior suite was a plus, however, the room lacked views and was too dark. We extended our stay 3 days and moved to a regular room, which we liked better due to the daylight and views.
