On the banks of the Saône River, close to the city centre, the Hôtel Lyon Metropole & Spa offers a peaceful environment whether you want to sleep, relax or work.

After a strenuous work out in the fitness centre, pamper yourself with a massage or a beauty facial in the beauty treatment and massage therapy centre.

For sport-lovers, there are 11 on-site tennis courts, a 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool, and the Olympic outdoor swimming pool is open in the summer only.

Each spacious and well-appointed room is perfectly soundproofed and air-conditioned. The rooms feature new bed linen and duvet, and a view of the river or the swimming pool. The rooms with terrace are available upon request and at an additional cost.

Access to the spa is free of charge for the duration of your stay.
Guests in the classic room have access from 15:00 on their day of arrival to 12:00 on the day they check out.
Guests in the junior suite have access from 14:00 on their day of arrival to 12:00 on the day they check out.

Hotel Lyon Métropole has the biggest urban spa in France. This 2500m²-facility is fully dedicated to wellness and offers hydrotherapy, a relaxation room, beauty treatments and massages.
There are also 2 children’s areas. One is for children from a few months to 6 years old and the other for children from 6 to 14.

The spa is open from Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 22:00 and from 08:00 to 20:00 at weekends.

Food & beverage

The Lyon Métropole restaurant serves delicious seasonal cuisine in bright and spacious dining rooms. It features a large terrace facing the outdoor swimming pool.

The restaurant will be closed for dinner on 24 and 25 December 2008, and on 1 January 2009.

Room information

Only the junior suites can accommodate an extra bed for a third guest.

Loved the facilities and the rooms of this Hotel, and not too far from Lyon Centre (with car).

My only disappointment with this hotel was the price of breakfast, 18 euros for both adults and children (last year children were free). You do indicate the price of breakfast on your site, however I really didn't expect my eight year and ten year old sons to pay the same price as adults. 72 euros for one family breakfast is extreme,(for a bowl of cereal and a fruit juice).

The spa is lovely and the staff were really very helpful. Full marks to the staff. Room clean, but it is all a little dated.

It is a 15 minute bus ride in to Old Lyon, and the buses are not very frequent (hotel has a timetable). Coming back on the late bus not very pleasant! We didn't take our car, but there are car parking charges (I believe) which seem unjustified given the distance from town.

The excellent Spa facilities, very acceptable breakfast.

The distance from the "centre" of Lyon - probably my own fault the reservations were made in a hurry!

J'ai fait une file d'attente de 45 minutes le jour de mon départ pour régler la facture. Évidemment la plupart des gens partent le matin, l'hôtel aurai pu prévenir plus de personnel.
